Hey, Wazuki, Joel said you were working on an Art Studio. How's it going? |

The studio I'm working on doesn't have a name right now. But my Webcomic is about Sky Pirates, Treasure, Ancient Magicks, and lots of Gunplay. I think the title I have for it is Wild Angel, and the first ten strips will come out in April. |

^_^ Hiring? Well now, it takes a lot of capitol and I still need to find a building. All I have right now is a cramped apartment stuffed with anime, books, my brother and cat fuzz. Trust me though, when I do get my studio underway you bet I'll start hiring here. I love a lot of work people have done here. The thing I love most about anime is how many different ways people can portray it. |

If you want, I'll give you Kyra to play with. And I do hope you can scan one of your strips so I can look at it. |

Wow, you'd give me Kyra? Already got something for her in my head stirring. Her master, Lord Hurr, has his birthday coming up and she wants to get something to really get his attention. So it's chocolate, pure dark chocolate that happens to grow in a primal jungle where barely anyone comes back out alive. That's fun. ^_^ I'll have the banner and the first strip done shortly, the first strip portray the main character's father and some of his pirates escaping from a prison complex. |

Anyway I think we'll need at least one other admin to help YoyoMike and probably one or two new mods to help GAT and Brian if he's able to get back. |

You mean cocoa beans, right? Chocolate doesn't grow in the forest, it's made by machines. Still, I'm flattered that you call me a Lord, since I had a French Arch-Duke ancestor on my Dad's side of the family. Naturally, Kyra would be a human who was accidentally genetically-spliced into a Raccoon-Anthro, wielding a giant metal mallet, but afraid of the predators in the forest. Heck, I'll sign up in Wikipedia to make a column about your comic to increase readers once it's up. Which reminds me, who are the pirates fighting against as antagonists? The Marines? The Air Force? A dark fleet of Neo-Vikings? |

And now I've entered rant mode. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS SITE? Not even specifically. EVERYONE. Everyone has a problem here. Serenade: Looking through this topic, I agree with Solar. You don't even irritate me as a person, but when you showed up in the middle of the mod exam and decided to close it like you still had a say in what goes on? That's like George Washington rising from the grave after a century and a half then deciding he's the president again- it doesn't work that way. Brian: You left, and left me with a great deal of respect for you. Except for one thing- when something is BROKEN, you FIX IT. BITCHING about something and FIXING IT are two completely different things. It's like your tire blowing out on the road- now matter how many times you yell at it, the hot air you're sprouting isn't going to fill it back up. Wazuki: I don't have a problem with you either- just the fact that you're a mod. This isn't even a problem with you, and I think the problem has been discussed numerous times. Pancake Mix: I respect you, but... well, see what I told Brian. Screamign DOOMSDAY isn't going to help. Some Members: STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT THE ADMINISTRATION. For the Good Lord's sake (and I don't say that lightly), I've never seen a group WANT so much. It almost says something about people as a society- everyone wants it all, and they want it NOW! Plotlines? Get some people together and start one- hell, I've tried to start some. Apparently the members only want plotlines made by the STAFF. New battle features? When did RPing become so battle-centric, anyway? Isn't the point of RPing a plotline in the first place to have PLOT DEVELOPMENT? (Oh, no! Don't mention plot development, J.G!) The members I have respect for, however... CMA: The hardest working staff member on the site. He's not short on ego, but he has a reason. Besides Yoyo, now, he's the only person who's been in all three members positions, and he can see things from all three points of view. He also has a wealth of experence, and doesn't seem afraid to RP with anyone, unlike some people on the site who have their little RP niches. GAT-notgoingtotry: Sorry i still can't remember your name ( ), but you definetly have my respect. You're one of the few people on the board who has taken the iniative to start storylines, do the Job BBS (getting to you, Yoyo), and RP with almost everyone. I can see you as an admin somewhere down the road- as logn as you don't pull away from the members. Infact, you're one of two people I haven't seen change by power. Yoyodude: Besides CMA, one of the ones with the most experence. You did a good job with the Job BBS for a while, and the Chess Plot and Hollow Plot was ingeneous (I'd like to see the Hollow one resurface, infact.). You'll definetly be a good admin, as far as I can tell. The best staff members, in my opinion, are not the people who want to be staff, but the people CHOSEN (with good enough reason, of course.) It'd take me too long to type up everyone I hold in respect, but these three people stand out because of the long hours they have put into the site, and the fact that the staff is at the center of this problem- not all is lost. *Pause. May continue later. Realizes this is probably his longest post EVAR.* EDITED after reading Hirozilla's post. |
